Meet the Poet
Jill Sharon Kimmelman who is a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee in poetry & has been nominated for the Best Of the Net 2018. Her critically acclaimed poems & recitations of other poet’s work have garnered accolades, awards, & recognitions.
By earning her place in the global poetry community, Jill has been honored to receive select invitations to celebrated poetry events.

In October 2021 Jill was a participant in a United Nations sanctioned celebration of International Non Violence Day, an annual gathering of poets on the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi.
​
Individual poetic contributions on the shared theme of peace were compiled into an anthology, Songs of Peace. This will be available by the end of 2021.

Jill’s passions include reading aloud with her husband Tim Little, a chosen pleasure they continue, despite their frequent, forced, health related separations. She enjoys live theatre, book discussions, & photography of food & flowers. She loves cooking from the heart & is never happier than when she has a “student” in the kitchen & her imagination soars.
​
Her love of cooking is evident throughout her poetry & in conversations.
She lives in Delaware, USA with her husband Tim, & is a proud mother of her son Jordan.
